Pastopic saves two things in your browser’s local storage. Neither is a cookie and neither leaves your device:

• your progress: questions you marked done, notes you marked read, and the last page you were on, so Home can take you back;
• your theme, if you switched to light mode.

You can wipe your progress with the Clear my progress button on the About page, or clear this site’s data in your browser settings. Another browser or device starts fresh.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to see which pages are useful: page views, which page sent you here, and your country, browser and device type. It uses no cookies and doesn’t identify you or follow you to other sites. Visits can’t be linked together beyond a single day.

Like any website, the services that deliver Pastopic briefly see technical details such as your IP address when your browser asks for a page or file:

• Vercel hosts the website;
• Cloudflare stores and serves the PDFs;
• Supabase holds the list of subjects, papers and topics. Only our server talks to it; your browser never does.

They keep short-lived logs to run and protect their services. We don’t use those logs to identify anyone. Fonts are served from our own site, not from Google.

We use your email address and message only to reply and to fix what you told us about. We don’t add you to a mailing list or share your message, and we delete old emails once they’re dealt with.

Pastopic is made for students, many under 18. Because there are no accounts, forms or cookies, using it doesn’t involve giving us any personal information.

You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, at pastopicteam@gmail.com. Usually the answer is nothing, or just your email. If this page changes, the date at the top changes too.
